We are beginning the 3rd quarter of 2019.
My time is flying …….
Are you still tracking your progress?
Are you on target for your 2019 goals?
Half of the year is officially gone but there is still time for you to get back on target.
Here are 2 questions you should be asking yourself to evaluate if your on track :
1. Are you meeting your daily, weekly and/or monthly goals?
Its time to go back to your goals and review what you had set to accomplish by this time. Don’t worry if you’re not on target, at least you are aware of where you stand.
Don’t be too hard on yourself either, life happens and sometimes life can throw us off track. The key is to get up and get back on track. Start small and start with your weekly goals. This can help you establish what you need to focus on this week in order to get back on track.
Next check out your monthly goals and press restart. Change the dates realistically and reschedule your dates throughout the rest of this year.
Don’t give up on your goal because you feel off track just keep going. For example, if your goal was to lose 10 pounds by June and you were supposed to workout 3 x a week to accomplish this, then begin working your weekly goal this week and reschedule that goal for your 10 pound loss for July.
2. What 2 things do you need to change to bring the results you need?
Think about what caused you to fall off track and what do you need to put in place to remain off track. It could be accountability. Accountability can be in many different ways. Depending upon your goal, you can have an accountability partner, hire a coach or mentor, set alarms in your phone, create daily and weekly task lists etc. There are many different tips and tricks to help you stay focused.
Identify what 2 things you need to do or put in place in order to remain successful with your goals and DO IT!
These two questions will allow you to self-reflect, evaluate where you are and identify what you need to move forward successfully in completing your goals. It also identifies any weaknesses that you need to address in order to be successful. There is nothing wrong with re-strategizing and starting all over. Learn from your mistakes and keep pressing forward.
2019 is halfway gone and just like that 2020 will be here. Do not let your 2019 goals be the same for 2020.
You have the tools. Get it Done!!
